GOI declares April 14, 2014 Birthday of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar as Public Holiday
New Delhi, March 12: Govt. of India has declared 14 April 2014 as Closed Holiday on account of the birthday of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, for all Central Government officers including Industrial Establishments throughout India. According to the order issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Govt. of India today the above holiday is also being notified in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881..
