National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) in its amendment dated 2 August 2011 clarified that:
1. If appointment procedure of teachers has been initiated prior to 2 August 2011 then they are exempted from CTET or PTET or HTET.
Meaning : If your appointment advertisement has been issued before 2 August 2011 then you are exempted from CTET/PTET/HTET.
Note: This information is useful for ETT and TGT teachers working under SSA and RMSA in Punjab.
